Local Know-How

Garage Doors for Kettering Homes

Kettering grew quickly after World War II and became a city in 1955, so many homes here are ranch and split level homes from the 1950s and 1960s, often with their original garage door tracks, springs and openers. When those parts wear out, we can repair them safely or help you choose a new insulated door that fits the look of your home.

Newer Kettering homes and remodels often call for something more modern, like a carriage house or flush panel design with windows. You can compare styles, colors and window options side by side in our showroom before you decide.

Kettering Door FAQs

Where is your Kettering showroom?

Our showroom is at 1350 East Stroop Road, Kettering, OH 45429. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Can I see garage doors in person before I buy?

Yes. Our Kettering design center has full size garage doors, entry doors and storm doors on display, so you can see colors, windows and hardware up close.

Should I repair or replace the original garage door on my older Kettering home?

If the door panels are in good shape, a repair to the springs, cables or rollers is usually enough. If the panels are cracked, rotted or uninsulated, a new door often makes more sense. We will give you an honest recommendation.

How fast can you fix a garage door in Kettering?

Kettering is our home base, so garage door repairs here are often handled the same day. Call (937) 293-2531.

Do you install LiftMaster openers in Kettering?

Yes. We install and service LiftMaster garage door openers, including quiet belt drive models with smartphone control.
